George hinshaw

HISTORY

George Addison Hinshaw is a former professional baseball player. Hinshow spent the 1989 season playing in Nippon Professional Baseball and had 13 appearances in Major League Baseball games while a member of the San Diego Padres in 1982–1983.

Hinshaw attended University of La Verne and graduated from Centennial High School in Compton, California. He was selected by the San Diego Padres in the eleventh round of the 1980 Major League Baseball draft. Hinshaw led the league in runs batted in (131) and hits (189) during his second professional season with the 1981 Reno Silver Sox of the High Class A California League. He also hit 25 home runs and batted.371 during that year.
